Vale d'Aldeia

Among hills, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, which divide the rivers Côa and the Douro is the ruin of an old work house, a bucolic and quiet space that invites an ephemeral appropriation.
A holidays house is built inside of the ruin, incorporating in its cubic form a large living space heated by a large window and a fire place. The oak floor expands the room to the distribution space and the bedrooms.
This small gallery opened at the east has along its length small spaces that work as antechambers of the intimate spaces, becoming the last one in a small cup to support the house and the terrace.
